PBM Accountability Project Calls on Congress to Pass PBM Reforms, Lower Prescription Drug Costs for all Americans

Doug Dority, Chairman of the Board of the PBM Accountability Project, recently penned a letter to House and Senate leadership urging Congress to “prioritize the enactment of PBM reforms that are necessary to protect Americans from overpaying for prescription drugs.”

Dority highlights how PBMs’ role as middlemen drives up costs for patients, taxpayers and employers, and points to legislation introduced in the last Congress that garnered bipartisan support.  The PBM Accountability Project is committed to supporting real PBM reforms.
